Spilled Milk is a California-based children’s boutique founded by two mothers in 2022. Rather than manufacturing every item itself, it curates clothing, gifts and accessories from labels such as Bebe Organic, Konges Sløjd and Flöss. What the organic-cotton claims mean
Some garments in this edit are described as using OCS-certified organic cotton, while others are listed as GOTS organic cotton. These are different standards. Organic Content Standard relates to organically grown material and chain-of-custody claims; GOTS also includes processing requirements for certified textiles. Product-level material claims should not be automatically extended to every dye, decoration, accessory or other product the boutique sells. Check the specific item’s current certification wording and fabric label.

Spilled Milk receives Yellow — Cleaner Step Up as a multi-brand retailer. Some featured items have stronger individual organic-fiber credentials, but the wider catalog includes nonorganic fabrics, blends, accessories and toys. We have not verified a retailer-wide organic or non-toxic standard. Yellow is conservative editorial guidance, not an independent safety certification.
Choosing sizes and caring for pieces
Baby sizing varies among European and U.S. labels, so use the measurements and size charts provided for each item rather than ordering on age alone. Wash and dry according to the garment label to protect knit textures, prints, buttons and embroidery. For babies, inspect items for loose buttons and decorations; clothing and accessories should be appropriate for the child’s age and intended use.
Shipping and returns
Spilled Milk says orders ship from its Costa Mesa, California, warehouse. Standard processing is typically one to three business days, with additional time possible during busy periods. Its posted free UPS ground-shipping threshold of $150 applies to the continental United States; shoppers in Hawaii or Alaska should confirm eligibility and final charges at checkout. Select oversized products can have separate fees.
Eligible U.S. returns must generally be initiated and shipped within 30 days of order fulfillment, with items new, unworn, and tagged. Refunds to the original payment method have a $10 combined return-label and restocking fee, which is waived for exchanges. Shipping charges are nonrefundable. International purchases and certain categories such as swimwear, underwear, pacifiers, hair accessories and final-sale items are excluded. Review the live policy before ordering.
