Description
Silverist creates clean hair care specifically around the changing needs of natural gray, silver and white hair. The collection combines toning, moisture, shine, scalp care and heat protection in formulas designed to support silver strands without relying on traditional harsh purple-shampoo routines.
Hair Care Created for Natural Silver
Silverist was founded after founder Evelyn Wang embraced her own natural gray hair and found relatively few products designed specifically around silver strands. The brand focuses on concerns that can become more noticeable with gray hair, including dryness, frizz, yellowing, mineral buildup, scalp comfort and sensitivity to heat.

Lustrous Rituals Buildable Tone Shampoo
Lustrous Rituals is Silverist’s alternative to a conventional purple shampoo. Instead of a strong violet formula, it uses a softer gray toning approach designed to gradually help counter visible yellowing and brassiness while cleansing the hair and scalp.
The shampoo is sulfate free and includes ingredients selected for moisture, shine and scalp care, including sunflower seed oil, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, fermented microalgae and umbrella polypore mushroom.
Smooth Harmony Shine-Infusing Conditioner
Smooth Harmony is a lightweight silicone-free conditioner designed around hydration, smoothness and shine. The current formula uses ingredients such as hyaluronic acid and rice protein and is intended to help soften strands, detangle and manage frizz without leaving silver hair feeling heavily coated.
Holistic Benefits Leave-In Hair Serum
The Holistic Benefits Leave-In Hair Serum combines leave-in conditioning with heat-protection and styling support. Silverist uses amla, karanja and sunflower seed oils along with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and fermented microalgae in a lightweight crème-serum formula.
The brand currently tests the product for heat protection up to 450°F, although Silverist itself recommends keeping thermal styling tools below approximately 350°F when possible to help minimize heat stress on delicate silver strands.
Clarity Reset Demineralizer
Silverist has also introduced Clarity Reset, a pre-shampoo treatment designed around hard-water mineral and metal buildup. Its ingredient system includes a plant-derived biodegradable chelating ingredient intended to help lift deposits that can leave pale hair looking dull or alter its tone.
More Than Toning
Silver hair care is often reduced to purple shampoo, but Silverist takes a broader approach. Moisture, scalp comfort, shine, mineral buildup, humidity and heat styling can all affect the way gray and white hair looks and feels, so the collection is designed as a more complete routine rather than simply a toning product.
Can You Use Silverist Without Gray Hair?
Yes. Silverist develops its products around natural silver and gray hair, but the brand says its formulas have been tested on all hair types. The conditioner and leave-in can also be relevant for people primarily looking for moisture, shine, smoothness, scalp care or heat protection. The toning shampoo is most specifically suited to gray, silver, white and blonde tones.
Artificial-Fragrance Free
Silverist does not use artificial fragrance. Instead, naturally derived aromatic ingredients are individually disclosed in the ingredient list rather than being grouped under a generic fragrance or parfum label. People who are sensitive to essential oils or naturally derived fragrance components should still review each formula carefully.
Clean Beauty Standards
Silverist states that its formulas are made without artificial fragrance, phthalates, parabens, silicones and sulfates. The brand is Leaping Bunny Certified and is also carried by Credo Beauty, whose retail assortment follows its own clean-beauty ingredient standard.
Why Blue Sky Classifies Silverist as Yellow
Silverist has a strong clean-beauty profile and uses many plant-derived ingredients, oils and extracts. However, the complete collection is not positioned as predominantly certified organic. Blue Sky Luxury Living therefore classifies Silverist conservatively as a Cleaner Step Up rather than an organic hair-care brand.
Made in the USA
Silverist is based in Los Angeles and states that its products are developed and manufactured in the United States using globally sourced ingredients and packaging.
Packaging and Recycling
The brand’s core full-size hair-care products use aluminum bottles manufactured in the United States. The bottles are BPA-free and recyclable after they are rinsed, although the mixed-material pumps themselves are not currently recyclable through ordinary curbside recycling.

Silverist currently offers subscription options for its full-size shampoo, conditioner and leave-in serum. Subscribers receive a recurring discount and free shipping and can currently select delivery intervals of one, two, three or four months.
