Description
Laconiko brings together generations of Greek olive-growing tradition with a modern focus on freshness, traceability and measurable olive-oil quality. The family produces its estate oils from olives grown near Sparta in the southern Peloponnese and operates its U.S. headquarters and tasting room in Manassas, Virginia.
Single-Estate Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The flagship Laconiko Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced from early-harvest Koroneiki olives grown on the family’s estate in Greece. It is a single-estate, single-varietal oil with no blends or additives and is cold extracted shortly after harvest.

Laconiko Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The brand’s everyday estate EVOO is made from 100% early-harvest Koroneiki olives. Its flavor profile is fresh and grassy with artichoke notes and a characteristic peppery finish. Laconiko publishes current acidity, peroxide and polyphenol measurements so shoppers can see more than a general extra-virgin label.
Olio Nuovo
Olio Nuovo means “new oil” and represents the first oil from the family’s harvest. Laconiko produces this limited reserve during the earliest part of the harvest using green Koroneiki fruit. The result is an unfiltered, more intense oil with a particularly fresh, peppery character.
ZOI Ultra High Phenolic EVOO
ZOI is a separate limited-harvest oil made from early-harvest Kalamon olives rather than the Koroneiki variety used in Laconiko’s primary estate oils. It is produced in small quantities and is selected for unusually high measured levels of naturally occurring olive phenolic compounds.
Blue Sky Luxury Living presents ZOI as a specialty extra virgin olive oil rather than making medical or disease-treatment claims about its phenolic content. Anyone using foods or supplements for a specific medical purpose should discuss that goal with an appropriate healthcare professional.
Measured Quality
Laconiko publishes laboratory and quality information for its current harvests. Extra virgin olive oil classification involves several quality measures, including acidity, peroxide values and sensory evaluation. Laconiko’s estate oils are produced to remain well within the limits required for extra virgin classification.
Why Early Harvest Matters
Harvest timing changes both flavor and yield. Green olives picked earlier in the season generally produce less oil than fully ripe fruit, but they can create a more robust, bitter and peppery flavor profile. Laconiko intentionally focuses on early-harvest production for its premium estate oils.
From Greece to Virginia
The Pierrakos family has roots in Greek olive production spanning multiple generations. Brothers Dino and Diamantis Pierrakos continued the family’s olive-growing tradition and established the Laconiko business in the United States, while the family’s olive groves remain in Greece.
Flavored Olive Oils
Laconiko also produces a large collection of flavored olive oils. Current varieties include garlic, Meyer lemon, basil, rosemary, blood orange, Tuscan herb, black truffle and many additional combinations. These products are best considered individually because their ingredients differ from the single-ingredient estate EVOO.
How to Use Laconiko EVOO
The flagship oil is versatile enough for both finishing and everyday cooking. It can be drizzled over vegetables and salads, used in vinaigrettes and dips, served with bread or incorporated into pasta, grilled foods, marinades and sautéed dishes.
Protecting Freshness at Home
Olive oil is sensitive to heat, oxygen and light. Keep the bottle tightly closed and store it in a cool, dark location away from a stove or sunny countertop. Laconiko itself uses climate-controlled storage before bottling to help preserve freshness.
Why Blue Sky Classifies Laconiko as Yellow
Laconiko’s flagship extra virgin olive oil is a simple, single-ingredient food made entirely from olives, with no blends or artificial additives. However, the complete collection is not positioned as predominantly certified organic. Blue Sky Luxury Living therefore classifies Laconiko conservatively as a Cleaner Step Up rather than an organic brand.
Returns
Laconiko currently allows eligible unopened and unused products to be returned within 30 calendar days of receipt. Opened or used products are not eligible under the standard return policy, and customers are generally responsible for return-shipping costs. Certain products can have separate final-sale restrictions.
Shopping Information
Harvests, bottle sizes, specialty oils, flavored varieties, prices and limited releases change throughout the year, so Blue Sky Luxury Living does not display one fixed Laconiko price. Review the current harvest information, product ingredients, bottle size, storage guidance, shipping and return terms directly with Laconiko before ordering.
