Description
EGOHOME makes memory foam and hybrid mattresses designed around accessible comfort, cooling and multiple firmness options. Its current mattress families include the premium Tenzura collection, the cooling-focused Black series and the more value-oriented Dreamer range.
A Cleaner Step Up in Conventional Mattresses
EGOHOME is not an organic mattress company, but several details make it worth considering for shoppers who want a conventional foam or hybrid mattress with clearer material standards. Current models use fiberglass-free flame-retardant inner covers, and specified mattress foams are CertiPUR-US certified.
What Stands Out
- Fiberglass-free flame-retardant inner covers
- CertiPUR-US certified flexible polyurethane foams
- OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification on specified mattresses and materials
- Memory foam and pocket-spring hybrid choices
- Multiple firmness options on selected models
- Cooling covers and gel-infused foams
- 100-night mattress trial
- 10-year limited mattress warranty
- Mattresses made in the USA with imported fabric on current qualifying models
Tenzura Hybrid 14″
The Tenzura Hybrid 14″ is one of EGOHOME’s more premium mattress options and the model Blue Sky Luxury Living selected to represent the brand. It combines foam comfort layers with pocket springs and is currently available in multiple firmness levels.
The cover combines polyester, Tencel and cooling textile material, followed by a fiberglass-free flame-retardant inner layer and copper-gel AeroFusion foam.
Hybrid Support
Tenzura Hybrid models combine cushioning foam with individually pocketed springs. Hybrid construction can appeal to sleepers who want the contouring feel of foam without relying on an all-foam support core.
EGOHOME Black Series
The Black collection emphasizes cooling and adjustable comfort. Current Black foam and hybrid mattresses use the brand’s Graphora cooling cover together with copper-gel foam and fiberglass-free flame-retardant layers.
Black Foam 14″
The current Black Foam 14″ is available in medium-plush, medium-firm and firm configurations. Its construction varies somewhat according to firmness but uses a cooling cover, copper-gel foam and high-density support layers.
Black Hybrid 12″
The Black Hybrid 12″ combines the Black collection’s cooling cover and foam layers with an independent pocket-spring support system. It is designed for shoppers who prefer the responsiveness of coils together with foam comfort layers.
Fiberglass-Free Construction
EGOHOME states that its mattresses use a flame-retardant layer without fiberglass. This is an important distinction for shoppers specifically trying to avoid fiberglass-containing mattress fire barriers.
Mattress covers should still be used and cared for according to the manufacturer’s instructions. EGOHOME says covers with manufacturing zippers are not intended to be removed.
CertiPUR-US Certified Foams
EGOHOME states that its certified flexible polyurethane foam families have completed CertiPUR-US testing and program requirements. This certification applies to qualifying foam materials rather than making the complete mattress an organic or natural product.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100
EGOHOME also maintains OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification covering specified mattresses, covers, toppers, pillows, cushions and textile materials within the certification scope.
Certification scope matters, so Blue Sky Luxury Living does not describe every material in every EGOHOME product as OEKO-TEX certified unless the individual product documentation supports that claim.
Cooling Materials
EGOHOME uses several cooling-oriented materials across its collections, including breathable covers, gel-infused foams, copper-gel foam and graphene-containing Graphora covers.
Temperature comfort is highly individual, so cooling terminology should be treated as a description of construction rather than a guarantee that every sleeper will experience the same temperature.
Materials Vary by Collection
The wider EGOHOME range uses polyurethane memory and support foams, polyester textiles, gel materials, cooling fibers, Tencel on selected products and steel pocket springs in hybrid mattresses.
Why Blue Sky Classifies EGOHOME as Yellow
Fiberglass-free construction, certified foams and third-party textile certification are meaningful positives in the conventional mattress market. However, EGOHOME mattresses remain primarily synthetic foam and textile products rather than natural-latex, wool or certified-organic mattresses. Blue Sky Luxury Living therefore classifies EGOHOME as a Cleaner Step Up.
For a More Natural Mattress
Shoppers whose highest priority is minimizing synthetic foam may prefer mattresses built primarily from materials such as natural latex, wool and organic cotton. EGOHOME is better suited to someone who wants a conventional memory foam or hybrid mattress while placing importance on fiberglass-free construction and recognized material certifications.
Choosing a Firmness
Selected EGOHOME mattress collections offer medium-plush, medium-firm and firm options. Firmness preferences depend on body size, sleeping position and individual comfort, so there is no single firmness level that works for everyone.
100-Night Trial
EGOHOME currently provides a 100-night home trial for eligible mattresses. The company requires a 21-night adjustment period before an opened mattress can normally be returned.
Eligible opened mattress returns currently use an arranged pickup service, with a $49 pickup and handling fee generally deducted from the refund.
10-Year Mattress Warranty
EGOHOME currently provides a 10-year limited mattress warranty covering qualifying defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage includes certain excessive indentations, foam deterioration, cover defects and structural or coil failures in qualifying hybrid models.
Normal softening, comfort preference, stains, misuse and damage resulting from an improper foundation are among the exclusions.
Shipping
EGOHOME currently processes orders through U.S. warehouses and typically ships by carriers such as UPS and FedEx. The standard online shipping program currently serves the contiguous United States and excludes Hawaii and Alaska.
Shopping Information
Models, firmness levels, sizes, prices and promotional offers change regularly, so Blue Sky Luxury Living does not display one fixed EGOHOME price. Review the current mattress specifications, certification information, dimensions, trial terms, warranty and delivery availability before purchasing.
