Description
Deme by Gabriella is a premium women’s fashion label built around made-to-order clothing, fluid silhouettes and statement dressing. Founded by designer Gabriella Demetriades in 2012, the Mumbai-based brand creates gowns, dresses, coordinated sets, tops and occasion pieces with a strong emphasis on shape, drape and color.
Contemporary Luxury Womenswear
Deme combines modern eveningwear with a relaxed sense of movement. Current collections range from sculptural gowns and sheer layered sets to silk separates, fitted dresses and coordinated looks designed for dinners, celebrations, resort settings and special occasions.

Symphony in 100% Silk
Symphony is one of the strongest Deme pieces for Blue Sky Luxury Living because its current construction is 100% silk satin. The two-piece ensemble combines a high-neck top with an architectural shape and a coordinating skirt designed with gathered draping and an asymmetric hem.
It demonstrates the more elevated side of the Deme collection while using a natural luxury fiber rather than the synthetic stretch materials found in some other pieces.
Camellia Silk Chiffon & Lace
Camellia is a sheer asymmetrical two-piece set using silk chiffon and lace. Its high-neck draped top and asymmetrical lower silhouette create movement through layering, transparency and gathered fabric rather than heavy structure.
Katya Cobalt
Katya is a one-shoulder gown with gathered shaping through the center and a bold electric-cobalt color. It represents the more body-conscious, high-impact side of the Deme aesthetic.
The current Katya construction uses net rather than silk, illustrating why material composition should be checked for each individual Deme piece rather than assuming the entire collection follows one textile standard.
Made to Order
Most Deme by Gabriella pieces are made after the customer places an order rather than pulled from finished inventory. Current product pages describe the garment as being cut and sewn specifically for the selected size.
This approach can reduce the need to maintain large quantities of finished inventory, but it also means ordering requires more care because production begins shortly after purchase.
Custom Tailoring
Many current styles are available in sizes XS through XXXL as well as a Custom Tailored option. Custom orders can request measurements such as bust, waist, hips and shoulder-to-floor length depending on the garment.
Measure carefully and contact the brand before ordering if you are uncertain about sizing or alterations.
Materials Differ Substantially
Deme uses a wide variety of textiles across its collections. Current garments include silk, silk chiffon and lace alongside satin, net, nylon, spandex and other conventional fashion materials.
Because the textile composition can differ dramatically from one design to another, shoppers looking for natural fibers should check the fabric description on the exact garment.
Why Blue Sky Classifies Deme as Yellow
Deme offers selected natural-fiber pieces, including current 100% silk and silk-chiffon designs, and its made-to-order model is an appealing alternative to mass-produced fast fashion. However, the wider collection also uses substantial amounts of synthetic and blended fabric. Blue Sky Luxury Living therefore classifies Deme by Gabriella as a Cleaner Step Up rather than a predominantly natural or organic fashion label.
Occasion Dressing
Deme is particularly strong for statement dressing. The collection includes gowns, date-night looks, bridal edits, festive pieces, resort-oriented styles and dramatic coordinated sets rather than focusing primarily on basic everyday apparel.
Seasonal Collections
The brand releases frequent seasonal and capsule collections. Current sections include AW ’26, Pre-Fall ’26, Bridal Edit, Deme Core, Deme Disco and other themed edits, so specific styles and colors can change quickly.
Customisation
Many Deme designs can be customized for size and, on selected styles, color. The brand asks customers who need customisation to contact the team before ordering so the available options can be confirmed.
Production Timing
Processing time varies by garment. Ready-to-ship pieces can leave quickly, while made-to-order garments generally require additional production time before dispatch. Individual product pages can provide a more specific timeline for the selected design.
Worldwide Shipping
Deme currently offers international express shipping. Shipping and customs treatment can vary by destination, and the brand’s current website contains differing information in separate areas about international duties and taxes, so shoppers should confirm the final charges shown during checkout before ordering.
Final-Sale Policy
Deme’s current policy is especially important to understand before purchasing: because pieces are made to order, confirmed standard-size and custom-size orders are generally final. The brand does not normally accept returns, refunds, exchanges or cancellations after production begins.
Fit Before Ordering
Because the garments are made to order and generally final sale, review the product measurements and size chart carefully. Deme invites customers with fit questions to contact its order team before purchase and also offers alteration support in certain circumstances.
Shopping Information
Collections, fabrics, sizes, customization options and prices differ widely across Deme by Gabriella’s catalog, so Blue Sky Luxury Living does not display one fixed brand price. Review the exact garment materials, measurements, customization options, production timeline and final-sale terms before placing an order.
