Description
Italian pizza-making tools for a better homemade pizza night
Pizza Party, operated by Italy-based Genotema SRL Unipersonale, offers pizza ovens, dough mixers, cooking accessories and its distinctive Essenza range of pizza peels. These tools are designed for preparing, transferring and turning pizzas in home or outdoor ovens. The peels are particularly useful for shoppers who enjoy practicing traditional pizza-making techniques without investing in an entire professional kitchen.
What makes the Essenza pizza peels different?
The Essenza perforated launching peels use a slim, flexible body made from a single piece of anodized aluminum. The drop-shaped perforations let excess flour fall away before a pizza enters the oven, while the thin edge helps slide beneath prepared dough. A hanging opening in the handle makes storage easier. Unlike a serving board, these are dedicated oven-transfer tools: choose a size that fits both your pizza and the oven opening.
Choose the right size and shape
Essenza 34 cm perforated launching peel: A rectangular peel with rounded corners, approximately 410 g in its standard configuration. The manufacturer lists a 34 cm width, 1.2 mm thickness and 64 cm overall length with its standard handle. It is designed to help launch a formed pizza into a hot oven.
Essenza 30 cm perforated launching peel: A slightly smaller option for ovens with narrower openings. Pizza Party specifies an approximately 360 g peel, a 30 cm width and 64 cm standard overall length. A longer-handle option is also offered on the merchant website.
Essenza 18 cm round turning peel: The smaller round head is intended for rotating pizza while it cooks. This perforated aluminum model is different from the larger launching peel. A separate long-handle option is available on the listing.
Round turning peel with separable handle: An alternative combining metal components with a removable handle extension. It is designed to work in compact spaces or larger outdoor oven arrangements.
Semi-round Essenza peels: Pizza Party also offers perforated models with a more rounded front profile. Compare the dimensions carefully rather than choosing by shape alone.
Materials and Blue Sky’s Yellow classification
Our classification is Yellow — Cleaner Step Up, used conservatively for this conventional metal kitchen-equipment collection. The highlighted Essenza launching peels are described as monobloc anodized aluminum, while other turning-peel models may include stainless steel. The listing does not establish a universal third-party non-toxic or organic certification. Aluminum kitchen tools are not equivalent to certified organic or natural-material products. Check each product’s specifications, coatings, cleaning instructions and intended oven temperature before using it.
Practical tips before buying
Measure the opening of your pizza oven before ordering a peel. Select a launching peel slightly larger than the pizzas you typically make, but narrow enough to pass through the oven opening comfortably. A smaller round turning peel can be helpful when rotating a pizza during baking. Follow the manufacturer’s usage and cleaning instructions, and keep your hands clear of very hot surfaces.
Shipping from Italy and returns
Pizza Party sells internationally, including to the United States and Canada. Its published shipping information advertises free shipping with taxes and duties included for qualifying U.S. and Canadian orders over $560. Smaller orders or certain equipment may have additional charges, so check the shipping quote before paying. The merchant’s withdrawal policy describes a 14-day notification period after delivery for eligible consumer orders, with the customer responsible for return freight to Italy and with conditions concerning the full order, original packaging and product condition. International returns can therefore be costly; review the official policies before purchase. Warranty coverage and exclusions depend on the product.
